The Zoom in Film Festival (ZIFF) 2026 is an independent cultural initiative that represents a powerful synthesis of youth-led creative entrepreneurship and professional heritage advocacy. Based in authentic and inspiring cinema locations across Bucharest, ZIFF serves as a sanctuary for “engaged cinema” and documentary realism, curating digital narratives that capture the pulse of a new generation of storytellers.
Through a strategic collaboration with the ARA Association, the festival bridges the distance between the cinematic screen and the ancient stones of Roșia Montană. Operating on a transparent 50/50 investment model, ZIFF reinvests half of its proceeds into the sustainable growth of its artistic platform while channeling the remaining 50% directly into professional restoration efforts to ensure that the ruins of the past become the beginning of a restored future.
